morality | rules | curiosity | perception

My research explores the influences of morality, norms, and emotions on multiple levels of analysis—from judgment and decision-making to cognitive and perceptual processes. I’m particularly interested in understanding how moral information shapes how we reason about rules and rule breakers, and when we are curious to learn more about moral agents.

I’m currently an NSF SBE postdoctoral fellow at Boston College in the Morality Lab. I did my PhD in psychology with a quantitative concentration at the City University of New York. My dissertation research examined the epistemic value of moral ambiguity and moral badness.

I’m also a Research Fellow at More in Common and an Affiliate at the Center for the Science of Moral Understanding. Previously, I was a Junior Scholar at the Stone Center for Inequality.
